A couple years ago a friend introduced me to Seth Godin—well at least his blog, his books. Godin is a marketing guru who really is helping our world re-think what it means to do business, but also to be in community.
One of his books, Tribes, basically says that there are people who are looking to be a part of what we are doing—if only they knew about it. What we are called to do is to help them know who we are and what we do.
That is a difficult and exciting task. What do people like us do?
For the next few weeks we are going to be seeking to give an answer to that question. We are going to turn to some of the oldest instructions we have—the Decalogue, the 10 Words, what we know as the 10 Commandments. They were the foundation on which Jesus lived. Perhaps they might do the same for us
