PROVIDENCE PRIORITIES FOR 2012:
I. Congregational Care: will continue as a priority with the following additions:
A. Add one or more Health and Wellness Teams
B. Add a Chronic Care Team for long-term needs.
II. Children: will continue as a priority keeping in mind the four areas of concern:
A. Recruiting leaders/volunteers;
B. Timing of programs/activities and regular attendance/participation;
C. Assistance/education for parents on prioritizing Faith Formation and Development in their families;
D. Need for ministry/missions “outside the walls” of Providence.
All ministries/groups/teams will be asked to create results-oriented goals for Children’s ministry/programs that will:
1. Increase the involvement and numbers of children at Providence
2. Create opportunities for ministries for children outside Providence
III. Outreach: will continue as a priority with goals for all ministries/groups/teams including:
A. Increase the personal contacts and invitations by Providence members.
B. Increase the follow-up of visitors.
C. Promote awareness of our PBC identity among members and visitors.
D. Increase use of social media and continue use of traditional media to promote PBC.
E. Increase Outreach Events at PBC and in the community.
